The ice cream season of 2025 has kicked off, and we are looking for shift leaders for our stores at Damhustorvet, Amager, Refshaleøen in Kødbyen, and Søborg.

With about 70 employees affiliated with the store during peak season, you'll undoubtedly enhance your leadership abilities with us.

As an Opening/Closing Responsible, commonly referred to as – ÅL, you'll be in charge of the store in the absence of the store or assistant manager, and you will open and close the store independently. You will prioritize and assign the day's tasks to a team of up to 12 staff on your shift, while also serving ice cream to our many guests. Your primary task is to ensure that guests are served promptly according to Ismageriet's high service standards, maintain an energetic atmosphere among the staff, and keep the counter looking appealing and filled with Ismageriet's fantastic ice cream.

It's crucial that you:

• Have experience in a similar position as an opening/closing responsible, shift leader, or supervisor at a busy restaurant, café, coffee bar, or similar.
• Thrive with responsibility and have the courage to provide both positive and developmental feedback to employees
• Are ready to work approximately every other weekend,
• Are prepared to go all in during the summer holidays and understand that you can take a maximum of 2 weeks of summer vacation (from June to August).
• Are flexible, approachable, have contagious energy, and arrive on time.
• Are outgoing, service-minded, and always focused on providing guests with the best experience.

Is this you?

• Love to lead, be at the forefront, and set the pace
• Find it natural to deliver world-class guest service
• Have a genuine interest in leading and guiding while taking responsibility for the entire guest experience
• Can maintain an overview and know how to delegate tasks
• Skilled at communicating clearly
• Can prioritize and structure tasks based on the day's developments

We can offer you between 15-30 hours per week, good salary conditions, and a lunch arrangement.
